About KPI's Founder.

My name is Phillip Brummett Jr.

I 'm an ordained minister and I specialize in paranormal, occult and demonic hauntings.

As a kid I started having encounters with spirits, both good and bad. And, it only seemed to intensify as I got older. Although I come from a Christian background, I have studied other religions and beliefs and have a fairly decent background on other religious practices. This enables me to help others who may not believe as I do. I never judge or condemn anyone who believes differently than I do. I try and help everyone.

If people are experiencing demonic activity in their homes, I go and try and get it to stop. Even though I am a Christian, I will try and help anyone that asks me for help. Whether they are a Christian or not. I believe this is what God wants me to do.

Mark 2:16-17

(16) And when the scribes and Pharisees saw Him eating with the tax collectors and sinners, they said to His disciples, "How is it that He eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?" (17) When Jesus heard it, He said to them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance."

I've seen people dedicate or rededicate their lives to God after experiencing demonic activity in their homes. Not all turn to Him, but I hope that by my helping them, they are at least touched by God in some way.

I was contacted by a producer interested in doing a TV series about me. I turned him down. I just didn't feel like that was the direction God wanted me to go in at this time. I'm not really interested in being famous. I get satisfaction out of just trying to help people.

I have received emails and phone calls from all over the world asking for help or advice. I try and help everyone as best as I can.

Phillip

KPI True Stories.

The following stories are true accounts of just a few of the things that have occurred to me over my lifetime. - Phillip (Founder of KPI)

THE BACK DOOR - At one house I used to live in, the back door on the house was a pain to go in and out of. I think maybe the house had settled, putting it in a bind. It was very hard to get open, especially if it was locked and you had to use a key. There was no way of going through this door without making a racket. Anyway, there were several times that this door would just swing open on its own, even when I knew it was locked. And, especially at night while I was in bed. One night I was awakened to the sound of the back door opening yet again. I got up to check of course. I was very tired and kind of aggravated when I saw that the door was indeed open again. So, I said out loud, but not angrily, "Look, if you all want to stop by and visit me fine. Just please shut the door after you come in." From that night on, when I'd hear the door open, it would always be closed when I got up to check.

THE WATER FAUCET - I was in the living room watching TV one night when I heard the backdoor open, then close, then I heard the water faucet turn on, then off. I got up to see who it was. I thought it was kind of odd, because I was sitting in front of the big bay window that faces the driveway, and I never saw any headlights come in. But, I just assumed that I must have been so consumed with the TV, that I just missed them. As I stepped around the corner, there was no one there. I knew that there hadn't been enough time for anyone to have left. And, I never heard the door open up again. I thought it was odd but, never the less, I went outside to see who it was. But, there was no one around. No cars in the driveway, nothing. I looked all over, inside and out, and I was all alone.

THE VISITOR -
I was down in the basement one night. And, it was pretty late this time, around 2am in the morning. I think I was painting something. I of course had all the doors locked. And, only had one light in the living room on. Well, I heard this racket, and I knew immediately what it was. It was someone coming through the back door. It opened, then I heard it close. I didn't think it was my parents because it was too late. It was the weekend, so I thought it might just be my brother. He drove a truck, and would come in at late hours on weekends. While I was pondering all of this.... I heard footsteps come through the kitchen, down the hallway, and stop at my bedroom as if someone was looking for me. So, I started towards the basement steps. As I walked towards the steps, I could hear the footsteps come back up the hallway, and through the living room. They stopped at the door leading down to the basement, just as I put my foot on the bottom step. I paused for a second, because I expected whoever it was to open the door. But, the door never opened. I went on up the stairs. And, when I opened the door, nobody was there. Puzzled,  I thought to myself, that I know nobody had time to leave. And, I never heard the footsteps walk away, or any of the doors open up. All the lights were still out, except the one I left on. And, all the doors were locked. I quickly glanced through the house to see if anybody was there. Then, I went on outside knowing that if they had left, that there was no way they could have gotten in the car, and out our long driveway without me catching them. But, there was no car in the driveway, or nobody around. I looked all around the house. I even looked up the road to my parents house. All their lights were out, and their vehicle still in the driveway. Now, I knew that someone had come in, and I knew that there was no way I could have missed them. Then, I got scared! It hit me that, maybe someone broke into the house, and might still be in there! I quietly went back in, grabbed my gun, and checked every room, closet, cabinet, garage, everything! There was nobody there. Once I realized that no one had broken in, I was greatly relieved. Then I just said to myself, "Well, I guess somebody was just stopping by looking for me."
The more I think back about that night, the more it makes me wonder. Someone, or something, came there looking specifically for me! It came through the door, down the hallway, and right to where my bedroom was. And, when "it" saw that I wasn't there, it came back up the hallway, through the living room, and right to the basement door.

THE BASEMENT DOOR - All the stories above happened at the same house. Something else unusual happened at another house that I used to live in. One evening I arrived home and needed to unload some stuff I had in the truck. I went through the house, down to the basement, and unlocked the basement door to the outside. I went out the basement door, checking to make sure it was unlocked, and around to my truck to get the things I needed to store in the basement. Upon arriving back at the basement door with my arms full of stuff and struggling to reach the doorknob, I found that the basement door was locked. While trying not to get aggravated, I proceeded to turn around and put my armload of stuff down on the ground so that I could go back around front, through the house and unlock the door again. Before I could even get my stuff put down I heard a "click" sound. My eyes widen as I thought I recognized what the sound was. I turned my head back around and reached for the doorknob... and the door opened. A little bewildered, I said "Uh, thank you.", and proceeded to unload the stuff out of my truck without any further interruptions.

NOT ALONE - Early one morning as I was getting ready for work, I just had one of those feelings as if I was not alone. On my way out I stopped by the bathroom to take care of "business". As I stepped out of the bathroom into a darkened kitchen, the light on the refrigerator's ice maker came on. Having had many encounters with the paranormal, I wasn't too alarmed by it. It only convinced me that my earlier feelings were correct. As I proceeded through the kitchen and into the living room, I had to stop and unlock the door before leaving. While doing this, I heard what I can only describe as someone rattling a plastic shopping bag very loudly across the room from me. Of course, no one was there. No one visible anyway. And again, this didn't alarm me. After getting through the door, I again paused to shut and lock the door before leaving. As I turned and started to step off the porch, our neighbors motion light by their porch came on. (I've walked all over our yard at night and never had this happen. Their light is pointed the opposite way towards their driveway and away from our house.) Again, I just put it in the back of my mind for storage. To me, there was no doubt that some presence was letting me know it was there. Three occurrences during the course of my leaving to let me know that whatever it was was following me as I left. Due to a recent case I had just done, I had a feeling I knew what type of presence it was.

THE CLEARING - Due to the types of cases that KPI does. I always have to be on guard, especially a few days after preforming a blessing or clearing in someones home. Blessings and clearings will usually anger most evil spirits and they will, and do, most times come looking for me afterwards to let me know that they are not very happy with me. After doing such a clearing in a clients home, activity began to increase in my own home. Most times I don't pay too much attention to it, unless it starts getting crazy. In this case it did. I won't go into details, but the activity was beginning to concern me. I knew I was going to have to do a clearing in my own home to get it to stop. (This is often the case when doing this type of work.) I started in the basement, and went from room to room doing the clearing. All was quiet. But, by the time I got to the last room of the house, it just felt like something was going to happen. I entered the room and said, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, if there are any evil spirits in this room, leave now, and give me a sign that you are leaving." I mean as soon as that last syllable left my mouth, the lightbulb in the overhead light exploded, quite violently. No more activity.

Provoking Spirits.

Unfortunately, due to the popularity of "ghost hunting" shows, everybody is now ghost hunting. And unfortunately, there are those that take every word they hear from these "TV ghost hunting professionals" as gospel. And, they go out and do and act just like the people they see on TV.

TV shows are all about getting RATINGS. And, I'd be careful about believing everything I saw and heard on them. Lately, TV shows are on a "provoke spirits" kick. Popular TV shows are telling wannabe ghost hunters that if they are not getting any activity, that it's OK to provoke spirits to get a reaction. I even heard one guy on a popular TV show say it was OK to cuss spirits in order to get a response. I was so shocked when I heard this guy say that, that I've never watched this particular show ever again. I can't believe this guy would tell this on TV, knowing that there are people out there that will go out and try it just because he told them to. And, people have and are doing it. I know, because I've gotten tons of emails and phone calls from groups who provoked, cussed, and stirred up trouble and now need help themselves. Or, from innocent homeowners who trusted a group to help them, just to have the group provoke spirits, then go home, leaving the homeowner with a angry spirit!

Provoking spirits is a big mistake! It's not only STUPID, it's down right DANGEROUS! Anybody provoking a spirit runs the risk of getting themself or someone else hurt.

Provoking should only be done by experienced clergy or perhaps a religious layperson. Clergy use what is known as religious provocation in order to get a suspected demonic spirit to reveal itself. Once revealed, the clergy can then attempt to confront the spirit using their faith, the word of God, and the name of Jesus, in order to remove it. Demons can only, and should only, be confronted by the faithful believer. Just having a bible in your hand, or a good exorcism prayer won't do it. It's only the faithful believer acting in the authority and in the name of Jesus that a demon will listen to. Even an experienced Clergy or religious layperson risk the chance of harm or death to themselves or anyone around when provoking a demon. So, with that known, do you really want a bunch of inexperienced "ghost hunters" running around your home provoking and cussing whatever spirits you might have there?

TV ghost hunting can be fun to watch, if you take it for what it is... a TV show. Remember the whole RATINGS thing I mentioned? Just because someone is on TV and calls themself a professional, doesn't mean you have to do and act as they do. Use your common sense people!

I know there will be diehard fans of TV shows that will defend their heroes to the death. That they can do no wrong. That's fine, I know there are some people that will never get it. But mark my words, sooner or later, if you provoke, you'll get hurt. Or worse, you'll cause somebody else to get hurt.

Provoking spirits is just WRONG and DANGEROUS! Use common sense, be respectful and professional to your clients.... DON'T PROVOKE.

The People In The Closet.

A lady contacted us concerned about her young daughter. Apparently her daughter had been complaining about not being able to sleep because the people in the closet would keep her up all night talking to her. She admitted that at first, she didn’t pay much attention to her. She just thought of it as a dream or a child’s imagination. That is until one morning when her daughter informed her that the people in the closet now wanted her to come with them. She asked us what she could do about this. (Many times our clients would rather try and solve their paranormal problems on their own and only wish to ask us how to go about doing it.) My friend Lori got some sage and explained to the lady what it was and how we used it. Lori told the lady to walk through each room of her house and burn the sage while saying a prayer. And, after she got done, take what was left of the sage and place it in a bowl under her daughter’s bed. The lady thanked us and left. We never heard from her till about 3 months later when both Lori and I bumped into her at a store. Lori walked over and began talking to her. And during the conversation, asked her what happened with her daughter. The lady said that she did what Lori had told her to do and then afterwards not only placed some sage under her daughter’s bed, but under all of their beds. She said her daughter has never seen the people come out of the closet since.

This is an old tale. I’ve heard many stories of demonic spirits befriending children only later to ask them to go with them. They will even sometimes take the form of a deceased friend or family member in order to fool the intended victim. After winning the child over, they will tell them that they want them to come be with them. This usually involves the child committing suicide in some way. (In one case, a child was told to bite an extension cord. She did as the spirits told her and was nearly electrocuted.) Parents, PLEASE pay attention to your kids if they tell you a story like this. Don’t take it lightly or as a dream or imagination. A deceased friend or family member would never ask for you to hurt someone or to come be with them. These are demonic tricks. If your child ever tells you a story like this, then PLEASE seek help immediately.

The Symbol.

Many times KPI is contacted by people either in person, by phone or email asking for advice. Many times we are able to calm a clients fears or solve a case without ever having to go to the clients home.

A lady contacted us for advice concerning something she had found in her house. She had moved into the house about 6 or 8 months ago. She was slowly remodeling each room at a time as she got the money. While ripping up the old carpet in the master bedroom’s walk in closet, she uncovered a symbol painted on the floor in the middle of the closet. She described it as a star inside a circle with 4 symbols in the four corners. She was concerned that there had been some type of evil rituals done there. My first question to the lady was,"Have you noticed any type of paranormal activity take place in the home since you moved in? She said no. I then asked, Have you noticed anything since you started remodeling? (Many times, remodeling a home will cause activity to occur if there are any spirits present.) Again, she said no. I then lastly asked, Have you noticed anything unusual happen since you uncovered the symbol? Again, she said no. I then informed her that most likely the symbol was not used for anything evil. If it had been, she should have been experiencing some type of paranormal activity. Especially after she uncovered the symbol. I went on to explain to her that there are many different types of religions and beliefs. And, that there are good and bad people in all religions. I told her that if anyone had been using that symbol in a bad or negative way, then she should have noticed some type of activity. And, that since she wasn’t, that I didn’t think she had anything to worry about. She was greatly relieved and thanked us for our help.

The Black Tiger.

I'm posting a few of our cases on here so that people can get somewhat of an idea as to some of what we do. I post them in a way as not to reveal any of the clients identities or locations. But, the stories are true.
I was contacted by a lady who was concerned about her daughter. She was very frightened and was complaining of a black tiger that growled, threatened, and talked to her. It would tell her to do bad things, and we'll just leave it at that. Her daughter was young and she said she believed she was calling it a tiger because of how it growled at her, she just related the growling to that of a tiger.
The lady made it a point to contact me while her daughter was asleep in another room because she did not want her to hear our conversation. While talking to the lady my phone started experiencing a lot of static. I suspected it might be the spirit trying to interfere with our conversation, as they often do this. My suspicions where confirmed when I started hearing growling over the phone. I could barely hear that lady as she was talking. I asked if she could hear me OK and she said yes, that I was clear as a bell. She could hear me, but I couldn't hear her. I then placed my hand over the mouthpiece of my phone so the lady couldn't hear me and said, "In the name of Jesus leave this phone alone so I can talk to this lady." The phone cleared up immediately and I was able to continue our conversation. But, I never told the lady what had happened because I didn't want to frighten her. The lady was convinced the tiger was some kind of a demon, so was I.
After talking to the lady for a while, I told her to contact her pastor or someone she felt comfortable with to help get rid of the demon. And, if she couldn't get anyone and she needed us to come by we would. She said she would get back to me. Now, I really get mad whenever I'm told about a case where kids are involved. So, after hanging up with the lady I began to pray and speak out loud to the "tiger". Yes, I believed it could hear me. I ripped it a new one and told it that I knew what it was and that I thought it was a coward to pick on that little girl! And, that if I came over there it was gonna get it! I was mad and I went on and on! After about a hour, the lady called back and she sounded pretty freaked out. She said she had to run some errands in town and was helping her daughter get dressed when she noticed she was acting strange. She asked her what was wrong and she replied, "Mommy, the tiger says it won't be bad no more, that it'll be good and it don't want that man coming over here." Well, I just busted out laughing. I told the lady what I did after getting off the phone with her earlier and that the tiger must be worried! Was it worried about me? No. It was worried about the ONE I represent. I have no power but because I am willing to let God use me to help people I'm able to act on heaven's power and authority. It was Jesus that the tiger was worried about!
To make a long story short, the lady contacted her church and luckily they were able to help her. The thing that strikes me the most about this case was how this big bad tiger turned into a pussy cat when confronted by the power of God!

In case anybody is wondering why I told the lady to contact her church or pastor first: I always tell my clients if they have a pastor, priest, church, etc, that they might feel more comfortable with, that they might want to go to them first for help. And, if not, then we would be more then happy to help. It's not that I don't want to help them, it's just that I want them to feel comfortable with the help they are getting. And, if a client feels more comfortable getting help from someone they know, their own pastor, church, etc, then for them to do so. I don't care about getting all the glory, I only care about getting our clients the help they need.
